A lot of my students don't have a Cricut. They learn how to design craft files and test them in Design Space - Cricut's free design software.
Yes. You will need a computer - desktop or laptop is fine!
You can create PNG files with a (free) Canva account or with Photoshop ($9.99/month).
To create SVG files, you will need Inkscape (free) or Adobe Illustrator which is $20 a month.
No art or drawing experience is needed. You will work with free fonts and clip art to create your own unique designs.
No! You can decide what is best for you by watching the first lesson inside Craft File Boss Club. From there, you can decide which software you should get!
No, I don't reccomend selling on social media. When you sell on Etsy or Creative Fabrica, you sell exactly what people are searching for which makes making sales much easier!
As mentioned, you can use a free Canva account to create PNG files, or a free Inkscape account to create SVG files. I also teach how to find free fonts and clipart.
I use erank for keyword research, which I pay $5 a month for. There is a free version of erank which some members use, it just has a certain number of searches allowed per day. I also regularly share trending keywords for all members.
Etsy is currently requiring some new shop owners to pay a one time $13 or $15 fee to open a shop. However, you can learn how to design first with free tools before you open your shop, to be sure it's something you want to do. Etsy also has a .20 cent listing fee to upload a new design.
